Ingredients

  • Rice 500-grams

  • Sesame oil 3-tablespoon

  • Cucumber 1-piece

  • Salt 2-teaspoon

  • Chicken 1.5 kg

  • Tomatoes 2-piece

  • Ajwain: 3-piece

  • Garlic ,Ginger 6-cloves

Directions

  • Take a large, open-mouth vessel, add enough water to submerge the chicken, and bring to a boil on high heat.
  • When water starts boiling, add chicken and let it boil for a few minutes.
  • So reduce heat to low, let it simmer, then take it off and let it cool.
  • Save the water.
  • Rub the chicken with sesame oil and salt, then cut it into pieces.
  • Add washed rice to the saved water with salt and crushed garlic, then boil the rice, drain when done.
  • Garnish chicken pieces with tomatoes and cucumber, sprinkle crushed ajwain, and serve with rice.

Notes

  • The water used to boil the chicken is full of flavor and perfect for cooking the rice.
  • Sesame oil gives a rich nutty flavor.
  • Serve hot for the best taste and texture.
