Ingredients

  • Orange zest 1-cup

  • Peeled orangeas neede

  • Orange essence (few drops)

  • I_sing sugar 300-grams

  • Butter 300-grams

  • Eggs 4

  • Flour 1-cup

  • Orange color (as needed)

Directions

  • Separate the egg yolks and whites. Then, mix the egg yolks with half of the butter and sugar, and beat well until the sugar is fully incorporated.
  • Finely chop the orange zest, mix 1 cup of it with orange color, and beat well.
  • Now gradually add flour, egg whites, and orange pulp to the mixture, and mix everything well.
  • and mix all mixtures together, pour into a cake tin, and bake in the oven.
  • Once the cake is done, take it out of the oven and let it cool down.
  • After the cake get cool down cut the cake like a sandwich.
  • Mix icing sugar, butter, orange essence, and a bit of water, mix it well till smooth.
  • Spread it on the middle layer, place the top cake layer, and press gently.
  • Top the cake with the remaining icing sugar, and garnish with thinly sliced orange zest.
  • Your orange cream cake is ready.

Notes

  • Fresh orange zest and juice for natural flavor.
  • Do not add too much orange color.
  • Bet the egg mixture well to make the cake soft.
