Ingredients

  • Bananas 600-grams

  • Sugar 1-cup

  • Coconut milk 1-cup

  • Bread slices 7-pieces

  • Butter 2-tablespoons

  • Vanilla essence ½-teaspoon

Directions

  • Peel the bananas, slice them, and sprinkle sugar on top as needed.
  • Add the remaining sugar to the coconut milk, mix well.
  • Once the sugar dissolves, add vanilla essence.
  • Trim the bread edges, then dip the bread slices in the sweet coconut milk.
  • Grease the non-stick pan with butter.
  • Arrange a layer of banana slices at the bottom and Cover it with a layer of bread slices.
  • Add another layer of banana slices, followed by a layer of bread.
  • The topmost layer should be of banana slices.
  • Now dot the top with butter, cover with foil, and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for an hour.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool down,
  • Now serve with cut banana slices.

Notes

  • Use ripe bananas for better flavor.
  • Adjust sugar according to taste.
  • Remember the topmost layer should be of banana slices.
  • Serve warm with bananas and bananas slices.
